Did the job, no fireworks
Not a gun I'm excited about, but one I trust. Cycles reliably, shoots straight, holds zero. The striker-fired mechanism is unremarkable in the best sense - does what it should, when it should, without drawing attention to itself.
Confidence in a holster
Bought this specifically to replace a carry piece I'd lost faith in after a couple of failures. Two months in, three range sessions, four hundred-plus rounds of varied ammo - total confidence restored. Sleeping better.
Magazine drop is positive
I've had carry guns where the empty mag had to be pulled out under stress. Not this one - push the release, mag hits the floor. Reloads are noticeably faster than my previous piece. 22 LR feed reliability is 100%.
Sights are dead on out of the box
Didn't have to touch the rear sight - point of aim equals point of impact at 15 yards right from the first magazine. Front post is bright enough to find quickly in poor light. Small thing, but it matters.
My wife stole mine, ordering a second
She picked it up at the range, fired five rounds, and announced it was hers now. Can't argue - the recoil on this 22 LR is so manageable that even my mother-in-law shot a clean group with it. Adding another to the cart tonight.
