All shipments are fully insured at no additional cost. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order total and selected service. Free shipping applies to the standard ground service only.
- Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday are processed and shipped the same business day
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will ship the following business day
- Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays ship the next available business day
- You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships
Note: during peak periods (holidays, major sale events) same-day shipping may not be available on all items. We will communicate any delays clearly at checkout and by email.
Federal law requires all firearms to be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) dealer - they cannot be shipped directly to a residential address.
- At checkout, provide your local FFL dealer's full name, address, phone number, and FFL license number
- BlackForge Arms will contact your FFL dealer to confirm receipt and arrange the transfer
- Your FFL dealer will perform the required federal background check (NICS) before releasing the firearm to you
- FFL transfer fees are charged by your local dealer separately and are not included in your order
- Firearms are shipped in manufacturer boxes inside plain, unmarked outer cartons for discretion and security
If your FFL dealer is unable to receive the shipment, please contact us immediately at info@blackforgearms.com to arrange an alternative.
Ammunition is subject to additional shipping regulations:
- Ammunition ships via ground service only - air shipping is prohibited by federal law
- Adult signature (21+) is required upon delivery for all ammunition orders
- Ammunition cannot be shipped to: California, Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Illinois (Chicago only), New York City, or Washington D.C. due to local restrictions
- It is your responsibility to verify that your jurisdiction permits ammunition purchases before ordering
Due to carrier regulations, ammunition will always ship separately from firearms even if ordered together.
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to track your package in real time.
- Log into your account and navigate to "My Orders" to view tracking at any time
- Tracking updates typically appear within 2–4 hours of shipment
- For carrier-level inquiries, contact UPS or FedEx directly using your tracking number
- If you haven't received a tracking number within 1 business day of your expected ship date, contact us
All BlackForge Arms shipments are fully insured. In the event of loss or damage:
- Before opening a visibly damaged package, photograph the outer packaging from all angles
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@blackforgearms.com or
- We will file the insurance claim with the carrier on your behalf
- Replacement or full refund will be processed within 3–5 business days of claim approval
- For lost packages, we require 7 business days from the expected delivery date before filing a claim
Do not discard original packaging until you have confirmed with our team that the claim process is complete - carriers may require it for inspection.
