Manurhin's MR73 .357 Magnum Revolver is considered to be one of the best revolvers in the world, and has a reputation for having exceptional accuracy and a smooth trigger pull. The MR73 was developed for use by French police and Special Weapons and Tactics units, including the legendary GIGN, who needed a reliable sidearm for use in the field and could stand up to their incredibly punishing training regiments that involve firing 150 rounds at daily target practice. Every aspect of the MR73 has been optimized for high performance, it features a unique trigger system that delivers one of the smoothest trigger pulls ever found on a double action with zero-creep. The cylinder of the MR73 is fully machined from forged, ordnance-certified steel billets, and the chamber finish is conducted by an impact process resulting in remarkably smooth chamber walls and long service life. In addition, all fitting and adjusting of the MR73 is done entirely by hand by master gunsmiths including deburring, polishing and assembling the mechanical parts. Before being released, each revolver is test-fired for accuracy at the factory, where it must be able to achieve a grouping diameter of 20mm at a range of 25 meters, any MR73 unable to achieve this level of accuracy is not released.

BlackForge nailed the shipping too
Order placed Monday, in my hands Wednesday morning, double-boxed with the manufacturer packaging intact. Took it straight to the range - ran like a sewing machine through 200 rounds with no break-in needed. this brand quality is real.
Cleaning it is almost satisfying
Field-strips in about 12 seconds, no tools, no hidden pins. Easy to clean thoroughly which means I actually do it instead of putting it off. Build quality inside matches the outside - clean machining, no burrs.
Three stars, leaning two
Trigger reset is mushy, the 357 Magnum ammo I prefer has been hit or miss with reliability, and the included accessories are forgettable. The price was right, which is why it's not a two-star review.
Three months in and still grinning
Carried it daily since September. No malfunctions, no second-guessing, nothing to complain about. The striker-fired trigger broke in beautifully around the 500-round mark and now it feels like an extension of my hand.
