Another noticeable upgrade is the chrome plated, fluted, ½ x 28 threaded barrel. Next is the world famous Canik trigger now available in a polymer 90 degree break. Finally the Tritium front sight and blacked out rear sights make for easy target acquisition even in low light settings. Smooth trigger, average sights
The trigger pull on this is genuinely impressive - way better than the price would suggest. The factory iron sights are fine but uninspiring. With aftermarket sights this becomes a 5-star piece easily.
Confidence in a holster
Bought this specifically to replace a carry piece I'd lost faith in after a couple of failures. Two months in, three range sessions, four hundred-plus rounds of varied ammo - total confidence restored. Sleeping better.
Customer service backs it up
Had a question about the manual on day two - emailed BlackForge, got a real human response within an hour. That kind of after-sale support is rare. Combined with a gun that hasn't given me any reason to call back, it's a winning combo.
Better than expected, worse than hoped
Splitting the difference with four stars. Out of the box accuracy was better than I expected from the price tier. Long-term durability is the open question - I'll update at 2,000 rounds. So far so good at 600.
