Mag release is a little stiff
Otherwise this is a strong gun for the money. Reliability has been textbook, sights are good, frame fits my medium-glove hand well. Just wish the mag release didn't require quite as much thumb pressure for fast reloads.
Better than I had any right to expect
At this price point I was prepared for cut corners. Found none. Slide-to-frame fit is tight, the controls have a positive click, and the 38 Super barrel groups under 2 inches at 15 yards rested. Absolute steal.
Solid backup, primary stays my old one
I bought this as a second 38 Super for the nightstand, not to replace my primary carry. In that role it's perfect - reliable, simple, no-frills. Wouldn't quite displace my main gun, but I'm glad it's the one sitting next to the bed.
