Need more time with it
First 300 rounds were rough. It's settling in now but the jury is still out. Updating to four stars later if it keeps improving, dropping to two if those early issues come back. Cautiously hopeful.
Looking forward to my next range day
That's the highest compliment I can pay a firearm. I'm planning trips around this gun, not the other way around. 7mm PRC is cheap to feed, the trigger keeps getting better with each session, and accuracy keeps surprising me.
Will recommend, with one caveat
Tell anyone asking that this is a strong pick at the price. Just warn them that the 22" barrel makes for a slightly louder report than its longer-barrelled cousins - invest in good hearing protection before your first range trip.
Cleaning it is almost satisfying
Field-strips in about 12 seconds, no tools, no hidden pins. Easy to clean thoroughly which means I actually do it instead of putting it off. Build quality inside matches the outside - clean machining, no burrs.
Best impulse buy I've made all year
Walked in for ammo, walked out with this on order. Got it three days later, ran two boxes of 7mm PRC through it without cleaning first, and it's been flawless. Sometimes the gun just calls you.
