Decent for a beginner
If this is your first 22 Long Rifle you'll probably be happy. If you've shot anything in the next tier up you'll feel the difference. Glad I have it for loaner duty at the range with new shooters - not what I reach for personally.
Best impulse buy I've made all year
Walked in for ammo, walked out with this on order. Got it three days later, ran two boxes of 22 Long Rifle through it without cleaning first, and it's been flawless. Sometimes the gun just calls you.
Solid choice, took a break-in
First 200 rounds were a bit gritty - trigger took a couple boxes to smooth out and one of the mags was stiff. Past that point, it's been flawless. If you can stomach a short break-in period, it's a great value.
Cleaning it is almost satisfying
Field-strips in about 12 seconds, no tools, no hidden pins. Easy to clean thoroughly which means I actually do it instead of putting it off. Build quality inside matches the outside - clean machining, no burrs.
Quietly excellent
Not a flashy gun. No gimmicks, no marketing fluff. Just does what a 22 Long Rifle should do, every time you ask it to. After two years of chasing the "next big thing" this is what's earning a permanent spot in my safe.
