Decent for a beginner
If this is your first 45 ACP you'll probably be happy. If you've shot anything in the next tier up you'll feel the difference. Glad I have it for loaner duty at the range with new shooters - not what I reach for personally.
Cleaning it is almost satisfying
Field-strips in about 12 seconds, no tools, no hidden pins. Easy to clean thoroughly which means I actually do it instead of putting it off. Build quality inside matches the outside - clean machining, no burrs.
Five hundred rounds and counting
Half a case in. No cleaning yet, no failures yet. 45 ACP hollow points feed identically to ball ammo, which matters for what I carry. Recoil impulse is straight back - no muzzle flip to speak of.
My wife stole mine, ordering a second
She picked it up at the range, fired five rounds, and announced it was hers now. Can't argue - the recoil on this 45 ACP is so manageable that even my mother-in-law shot a clean group with it. Adding another to the cart tonight.
Better than I had any right to expect
At this price point I was prepared for cut corners. Found none. Slide-to-frame fit is tight, the controls have a positive click, and the 45 ACP barrel groups under 2 inches at 15 yards rested. Absolute steal.
